EA Sports just dropped the cover for its newest edition FIFA 23 featuring PSG star Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea/Australia international Sam Kerr. Kerr becomes the first women’s player to grace the cover of the title.
The cover art, which was revealed via tweet on Monday that read: “Two phenomenal forces up front. One ultimate strike partnership.”
One thing to note is that both players are in their club kits. In previous years FIFA has featured women’s national teams, but we have yet to see any domestic women’s leagues in the game. Kerr in her Chelsea blue could signal something new to come in this year’s title. Stay tuned for more details as a trailer should be dropping soon.
