U.S. Men’s National Team defender Chris Richards made his Premier League debut this evening coming on in the 80th minute for Crystal Palace in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
The Birmingham, Alabama native was a stand out in the FC Dallas academy and got a move to Bayern Munich in 2019 where he made 43 appearances between Bayern II and the first team. Richards spent two years on loan at Hoffenheim before making the move to Crystal Palace ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Richards is expected to be a member of the U.S. Men’s National Team squad headed to Qatar in November.
