ST.PAUL, MN – Dayne St. Clair of Minnesota United FC was awarded the 2022 MLS All-Star MVP for his outstanding performance in goal for the MLS All-Stars during their 2-1 victory over the Liga MX All-Stars on Wednesday at Allianz Field.
St. Clair, who entered the game in the 32nd minute to a standing ovation, made a stunning stop on a Juan Dinenno header 12 minutes later to keep a 1-0 lead. He was one of three MLS All-Star goalkeepers to play in the match, the others being Sean Johnson of NYCFC and Philadelphia Union starter Andre Blake.
