This is our 2Cents on the beautiful game of soccer, through the lens of Black Culture.
Soccer in America never seemed like it was for us, It was always an affluent suburban sport in our eyes. That created a disconnect between the game and our community, but we’re here to restore the feeling. We are entering a new era of the game in this country, the US Men’s National team is the Blackest its ever been, some of the biggest stars in the NWSL are Black Women, and we’re beginning to see a renaissance of Black voices telling stories and adding commentary around the game.
2Cents FC is a media platform when Black stories in soccer live, a place for Black voices to be heard, and for the next generation of talent to be discovered. This is a place where we are no longer overlooked. We got something to say…
